Luxor Temple and Dendera Temple Private Day Tour from Hurghada
Pick up from Hotel in HurghadaPick up time from your hotel in Hurghada by Arabian Reisen tour guide, Then Drive to Dendera templeVisit the temple of DenderaArrive at Dendera at 08: 00, You will be accompanied by Egyptologist tour guide, He will explain the history of the temple Dendera templeThe Temple of Hathor was largely constructed during the Late Ptolemaic period, specifically during the reign of Ptolemy XII and Cleopatra VII. Later additions were made during the Roman period. Although built by a dynasty of rulers who were not native Egyptians themselves, the design of this temple has been found to be in accordance to that of other classical Egyptian temples, with the exception of the front of the hypostyle hall, which, according to an inscription above the entrance, was constructed by the Emperor Tiberius.Apart from these, there are also scenes in the temple complex portraying the Ptolemaic rulers. For example, carved onto the external face of one of the temple walls is a huge relief of Cleopatra VII and her son by Julius Caesar and co-ruler, Ptolemy XV (better known as Caesarion). The two Ptolemaic rulers are shown dressed in Egyptian garb, and offering sacrifices.Hathor was also regarded as a goddess of healing, and this is evident in the presence of a sanatorium in the temple complex. Here, pilgrims would come to be cured by the goddess. Sacred water (which was made holy by having it poured onto statues inscribed with sacred texts) was used for bathing, unguents were dispensed by the priests of Hathor, and sleeping quarters were provided for those hoping that the goddess would appear in their dreams, and so aid them.Lunch TimeLunch will be served in a local restaurant in Luxor Luxor TempleThe Temple of Luxor is among the most beautiful Temples in Egypt. It was known in the New Kingdom time as Ipt-Rsyt, which means the southern house. This was to differentiate between this Temple and Karnak Temples, which was the northern house of Amon, Built largely by Amenhotep III and Ramses II.Luxor temple is a lunar flower from paradise constructed in 1400 BCE during the reign of Pharaoh Amenhotep III and was known as “Ipetresyet” which means the southern sanctuary and holds various festivals including the Opet festival, it was dedicated to the God Amun which symbolizes the rejuvenation of kingship.Back to HurghadaAt the end of the day, you will be transferred by a private air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel in Hurghada.

Delight!
We vacationed with my sister and children from August 5th to 14th. And we are delighted! We have not had a holiday like this for a long time, we have seen so much. The Sharming Inn hotel is simply wonderful, the organization is top notch! Special thanks to guide Mahmoud Salama. He helped with all questions, told a lot of amazing information, the organization, as I already said, was simply excellent. The excursions were well- chosen, the children were also in a great mood. Now we look at the photos we took and want to go back. Overall, we recommend you visit! You will not get bored with Mahmud)
